66,000 students have now received their Higher School Certificate results, officially bringing an end to the 2020 HSC and the school year and all students should be proud of what they have achieved this year.
The Class of 2020 have displayed a tremendous sense of unity, resilience and perseverance this year – all qualities that will serve them well in their future ambitions.
Despite the hurdles the Class of 2020 performed on par with what we would expect in a normal year, an incredible achievement.
Parents, students, staff and the wider community have all gone above and beyond this year and to see students come out of the HSC with the results they worked for is incredible – particularly those who achieved to such high standards.
Two students from Heathcote received a first in course achievement:
• Zara O’Mahony from St Patrick’s College Sutherland was first in course for Construction Examination.
• Taylah Pye from St Patrick’s College Sutherland was first in course for Tourism, Travel and Events Examination.
This is outstanding results for these St Patrick’s College Sutherland students and I commend Zara and Taylah for their hard work and dedication to achieve this incredible outcome.
Huge congratulations to all the students who achieved such high standards in their studies.
Some students may not have received the results they wanted right now, but there are number of different pathways available to help young people reach their goals.
Congratulations to the Heathcote Class of 2020 for all that you have achieved this year and all the best for what is to come.
