GraffitiRemovalDay_1October2014_PRINTNSW Graffiti Removal Day is this Sunday 26 October. Graffiti Removal Day is a joint partnership between the NSW Government and Rotary Down Under aimed at encouraging local communities to get involved in the campaign to stop graffiti.

Every year graffiti vandalism costs NSW more than $100 million to remove from public assets, community facilities and private property and Graffiti Removal Day gives us all an opportunity to do our bit to combat graffiti and clean up our local area.

Volunteers will be supplied with cleaning materials, safety equipment and will receive training on how to safely remove graffiti.

Graffiti Removal Day is about helping us identify, remove and prevent vandalism from happening in our local communities.By working together we can reduce graffiti and educate young people about the negative impacts of vandalism to help deter anti-social and destructive behaviour.

Graffiti Removal Day will be held on Sunday 26 October between 10am and 4pm.
