Roads and Maritime Services advises motorists of changed traffic conditions from next week for work to improve the Princes Highway road surface at Engadine.

Work will be carried out on the Princes Highway between the two intersections of the Old Princes Highway and includes removing and replacing sections of asphalt, repairing sections of kerb and gutter and line marking to provide a safer road surface, while investigations will also take place on underground utilities.

Work will be carried out between 9pm and 5am from Tuesday 2 August to Tuesday 23 August and take 15 shifts to complete, weather permitting.

Every effort will be made to minimise noise associated with the work.

Traffic control will help residents access properties during work hours and ensure vehicles are not parked in the sections where work is scheduled.

Lane closures will be in place and motorists are advised minor delays are expected.

Motorists should follow the direction of traffic control and signs and adhere to reduced speed limits.
