Locals with NSW Seniors Cards can now save on energy costs with plenty of deals to stay warm during winter.
An exclusive EnergyAustralia offer will help seniors keep more cash in their pockets for doing the things they love.
We want seniors to feel confident they’ve got the best energy deal for them going into winter, so they’re comfortable and can manage the costs of living.
NSW Seniors Card and NSW Senior Savers Card members who sign up for EnergyAustralia’s ‘Total Plan’, receive 27 per cent off electricity, 25 per cent off gas and up to a $100 energy credit.
Saving on basic living costs means more can be used to enjoy other areas of life, such as groceries for a family dinner or catching up for with friends over coffee.
Mark Brownfield, EnergyAustralia Residential Executive, said seniors can also call for a free ‘Energy Health Check’.
“We’ll review your current energy bills to ensure you’re getting a fair price and see if you’ll be better off with our exclusive offer,” Mr Brownfield said.
“We understand that getting value for money matters, so we’re pleased to give seniors this great discount and up-front credit on their gas and electricity.”
Minister for Seniors Natalie Ward said the 1.8 million NSW Seniors Card and Senior Savers Card holders can access discounts and deals at more than 7,500 businesses state-wide.
“A NSW Seniors Card is a golden ticket to discounts for activities like this, to thank our state’s older residents for their lifelong contribution,” Mrs Ward said.
EnergyAustralia is among more than 7,500 NSW businesses offering deals for seniors. Other offers include half price RSPCA senior pet adoptions and 50 per cent off metro to regional NSW TrainLink fares and five per cent off IGA gift cards.
