The final round of the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants Program 2018 is officially open and I encourage community organisations looking to build new or upgrade existing facilities to apply for funding under the program.
The funding is available for infrastructure projects in three key areas:
• Arts and Culture
$50,000 to $200,000 available per project
• Emergency preparedness
$10,000 to $200,000 available per project
• Sport and Recreation
$100,000 to $300,000 available per project
The funding is provided through the Clubgrants Category 3 program, which receives a contribution from registered clubs’ gaming machine profits to benefit local communities.
This funding can make a real difference to the local community, either by providing new or improved sporting or cultural facilities, or by protecting local residents in emergency situations.
This year will see the NSW Government complete its commitment to invest $50 million into community infrastructure projects across NSW in four years.
Applications for the final round of Infrastructure Grants for 2018 will be open from 2 to 22 October.
