I was delighted to officially open the new outdoor work area for the Bosco Mens Shed.
The Bosco Mens Shed was successful in gaining a grant of $14,870 through the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership program enabling the construction of the covered outdoor work area (COWA) for the group.
The Bosco Mens Shed opened in 2008 and is an integral part of our local community. I congratulate this group of gentlemen for their ongoing contribution assisting many individuals and groups in Engadine and surrounding suburbs.
Talking to the men it is obvious that in addition to the satisfaction they derive from working on these projects the opportunity to socialise and interact at the Bosco Mens Shed greatly assists in maintaining a healthy wellbeing.
